To ensure freshness and fulfill the demand for our ‘famous fish’ we process live fish, carp, catfish, and buffalo.
Fish are caught live from the clear cold waters in the northern states and transported by special insulated semi-trailers in water-filled containers to our facility just south of Bellevue, Nebraska.
The fish are stocked in our lakes until we process and prepare them for shipping to markets and restaurants all over Omaha.
Ninety percent of the fish is transported to Joe Tess Place, where we have a live fish market on the premises where you can get fresh dressed or live fish cut to your specifications.
